Sustainability at Photobox

All of our factories run with 100% renewable energy. That means energy collected from renewable resources that are naturally replenished (on a human timescale), like wind, sunlight, and waves. It does other good stuff too, like reducing air pollution and diversifying energy supply, and it means we're less dependent on importing fuel.

Packaging is a biggie for us (because we send a lot of orders to customers daily). Since 2019, we've removed 48.6 tonnes of plastic from our packaging. Unsure what that really means? Well, it's equivalent to 1 million plastic bottles and the weight of 7 fully grown elephants. We're still working on ways to reduce our plastic waste across all of our operations.

Zero Waste to Landfill is as literal as it sounds – no waste is sent to landfill. That's something we've already achieved at two of our factories. As for the rest, we're making sure as much waste as possible is reused, recycled, or recovered.

Photo books, prints, coasters – the photo products we create are of premium quality, so that they're sure to last a lifetime. Keeping something forever means keeping it out of landfill, so you can always expect that level of quality from us.
