Offer ends Monday:
Step up your next game night with personalised puzzles. You'll be holding memories in your hands, all while creating new ones.
It's almost too easy to get sucked into texting, scrolling social media, and playing games on your phone nowadays, but there's something special about playing a game in person with the people you love most. Family game nights, or just a cosy, rainy afternoon activity with your partner – spending time away from screens is always refreshing. Personalising your games gives them that extra *something*, and you'll get to make even more memories while you play. What options of personalised puzzles and games are there?
There are plenty of ways to personalise your play. You can make a puzzle with your own picture with the Ravensburger Photo Jigsaw Puzzle, or make a deck of memory® Game cards. Whatever you choose, you'll be so entertained you'll forget you even have a phone (or at least, for an hour or so).Ravensburger Photo Jigsaw Puzzle
It's time to upgrade your game night and create your own personalised jigsaw. Whether you're a puzzle pro or you're gifting one to a child, there are so many options when you create your own photo jigsaw puzzle. Choose a photo for your custom jigsaw, select a size and voilà! For kids, we recommend the 49-piece puzzle, but we offer puzzles with a picture for adults too, with up to 2,000 pieces to really test your skills. If you've ever wanted to make your own jigsaw puzzle, now's your chance.memory® Game
Reminiscent of a game of Pairs from your childhood, Ravensburger's memory® Game is a fun, educational game perfect for kids developing their memory skills and for refreshing yours (your memory's not what it used to be, we get it). All you need to do is upload 12 or 36 of your favourite photos and we'll turn them into a unique, personalised card game.
If you've done photo jigsaws before, there's a simple rule: if you double the number of pieces, you increase the time needed by four. So if a 100-piece puzzle takes you 30 minutes, a 200-piece puzzle would take around two hours. It's widely suggested that a 500-piece puzzle will take the average person about five or six hours. Experienced puzzlers can complete a 1,000-piece jigsaw in about 10 hours but the average person might need up to 24 hours, which means that our 2,000-piece puzzle could take an entire weekend.
We recommend avoiding black and white snaps unless you're intentionally trying to make your Ravensburger Custom Puzzle nearly impossible to solve, and instead lean towards bright, colourful photos with lots of detail. The sharper, the better, as those details will be what makes a puzzle solveable.
Absolutely, you just need to use puzzle glue on both sides to keep it together. It's also good idea to mount your personalised photo puzzle onto a foam board for added stability before sliding it into a frame. Hang with an extra hook if you're worried about the weight and there you have it. There's something cool about the way you can turn a picture into a puzzle and then turn that puzzle into a picture – it's the perfect cycle.
Absolutely, it couldn't be easier to design your own puzzle on the app. Make sure you have the Photobox app downloaded, then log in to your account to save your photo (you can select it straight from your camera roll). Once it's saved, you can create your personalised photo puzzle straight away, or leave it to create on the app or your desktop later.
It's really easy to design your own games. Just head to the app or website, find the puzzle or game you'd like to create, upload your photo and you're done. Easy as that.
