Retention periods
We use retention periods for all the personal data that we process. Our retention periods strike a balance between availability of our services and privacy regulations such as required by the GDPR. Below are the retention periods that are currently in place with regard to account and order data and photos. These periods are subject to change.
- Customer carts are deleted after 30 days of inactivity;
- Client editor photo books that were uploaded but not ordered are deleted when the customer’s cart is deleted;
- Uploaded photos are deleted when the account gets deleted or when there has not been a purchase in the last 18 months;
- Anonymous photos (uploaded without login to account) are deleted after 30 days of inactivity;
- Guest accounts, including all uploaded photos and other customer data, will be deleted 60 days after account creation
- Widgets (digital and shareable versions of photo books) are deleted when the account is deleted;
- Document files (pdf) of any ordered product are deleted when the account is deleted;
- Accounts and all related customer contact details (projects, order history, PDF’s etc) are deleted after 5 years since last placed order.
In addition we delete your personal data without undue delay upon your request, unless we are under a legal obligation to retain these. Please note we will not be able to reprint your order after your account has been deleted.
